This is me, the owner of Wild River Photography
Just reflecting on my journey for 2021. We moved to a new studio at the Gold Coast from Brisbane and what a whirlwind 12 months I have had. Business has gone crazy busy even with the lockdowns and uncertain times. I feel that families have come together and really value photography and the memories it brings now more than ever which is so lovely to see. I am so passionate about creating memories as I understand the importance of ” You don’t know what you miss until it’s gone” I’ve lost both parents so photos and images are all I have of them which I am very grateful for, they hold no value to me, they are priceless.
MY ACHIEVEMENTS
In 2021 I have been awarded a Gold badge which is a dream goal, this is based on skill, lighting, position, all of the technical “stuff”. So wow I was ecstatic.
I was awarded Top 3 Newborn Photographer on the Gold Coast – I mean what can I say, this was an overwhelming feeling of happiness especially as I had only been at the Gold Coast 6 months. But that wasn’t all!!! I was then in November award Top 5 QLD Photography Business of 2021! I honestly cried, could this really be happening to me, how have I achieved all of this? Well they say you never work a day in your life when your doing something you love.

I couldn’t have done all of this without my amazing client’s. In 2021 I have photographed over 130 families. Celebrating pregnancies with couples, documenting tiny little newborns and capturing family moments. I am truely and will be forever grateful for all of the support of my business and dreams. I cant wait to see what 2022 holds for Wild River Photography.
