NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY | GOLD COAST
Your baby is here and your heart has grown. Newborn photography sessions are so important and valuable.
The first two weeks of having a newborn are a complete blur, your new tiny person is changing daily and they will never be that small again. I love to capture those tiny details and family connections.
I recommended a newborn shoot generally when baby is 7-21 days old, this is because they are bendy and flexible to help with the super cute squishy poses. Older babies are also able to be photographed but you may not get the same images in props, however we always get stunning images regardless.
Booking way ahead of time is essential for newborn images, as soon as you have a due date. This is so I have the flexibility to change dates to suit when baby has arrived.
During the session we will do some posing on the baby beanbag and if baby is happy we will go for bucket and bed props. Please keep in mind each session is different due to how baby is feeling on the day. If your Newborn photography shoot is outdoors I will also bring a few wraps but no props such as wooden buckets etc. Newborn outdoor photography is more relaxed and natural.
NEWBORN STUDIO SESSION
Newborn photography sessions are generally held in my beautiful studio space in my home on the Gold Coast which has a lovely warm and inviting atmosphere.
My studio is clean, covid safe and warm for your little VIP.
The advantage of the studio is the perfect lighting all year round plus no need to worry about the weather.
Baby photography sessions usually start around 10 am and can last around 2-3 hours.
My style is very neutral and classic.

NEWBORN STYLING & POSING
I have over 30 stunning dresses from all over the world ranging different sizes or one size fits all. There is a variety of styles and colours however I do love a neutral style so that will be mainly what you will see. Once your booking is confirmed you will receive exclusive access to the online viewing gallery where you will choose your favourites for me to bring on location or you have the whole wardrobe for your choosing if you are at the studio.
If your baby is having a studio session I provide all wraps, bonnets, headbands etc that baby will need. Whites, creams and greys to match my neutral tones.
Full newborn sessions can take between 2-3 hours and capture a selection of prop posed baby images and lifestyle images.

NEWBORN OUTDOOR SESSION
Newborn photography sessions don’t have to be in the studio.
We are so blessed here on the Gold Coast to have so many beautiful scenes from kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches, mountains, fields, creeks and more.
We will talk through the location where you would like to have your newborn photography session. I am always up for new places to try but happy to make suggestions as I do have a few favourite spots up my sleeve.
Outdoor sessions are held at sunset, depending on the time of year they can start at 4.30 in the winter or 6pm in the summer.
Outdoor sessions are generally up to 1 hour.
I can bring some wraps and outfits but no props, these are more of a natural lifestyle look.
